F Style Sawtooth Dispersion Blade

$92.00

The F Style Sawtooth high shear disperser blade is most popular and versatile dispersion impellers. The impeller creates a laminar flow region around the blade where agglomerates are torn apart by velocity gradients of adjacent flow layers. The uniform teeth help to accelerate pigment particles and breakup agglomerates. This high shear is complemented by turbulent flow through out the bulk of the batch.

Sometimes referred to as the Sawtooth or Type 6 disperser blade , the F Style High Shear Disperser Blade is the most popular and versatile dispersion impeller. Typically operated at tip speed of 4000 - 6000 feet per minute, the impeller creates a laminar flow region around the blade where agglomerates are torn apart by velocity gradients of adjacent flow layers. The uniform teeth help to accelerate pigment particles and breakup agglomerates. This high shear is complemented by turbulent flow through out the bulk of the batch.

As with all our disperser blades it can be bored to fit any of the popular high speed dispersers, including; Myers, Cowles, Hockmeyer, Schold, Shar, etc.
